Board History

This Page will not be updated after Sarah and Michael retire from the CANDO Board of Directors in October 2024.

Back in the olden days, Salem neighborhood associations sent out an annual newsletter.  In May of 2018, we got a look at a bunch that CANDO published between 1991 and 2008, courtesy Salem Neighborhood Services staff.  It's interesting that, during those years, and up until about 2010, the CANDO board consisted predominantly of members with business interests downtown.  Their names and committee assignments are listed below, along with other newsletter details.  For more context and tidbits of Salem History, visit Salem Heritage Network.
