The regular meeting of CANDO was called to order at 6:00 p.m., on Tuesday, April 20, 2021.  The meeting was conducted by Zoom video-conference.  The Chair and Secretary-Treasurer were present.  

The agenda and minutes of the March meeting were approved unanimously.

Councilor Stapleton gave a report on her and Council’s activities and answered questions.  Asked about her budget priorities, the Councilor indicated she would like to devote more staff time coordinating the City’s homelessness response and have funds set aside for implementing the City’s climate action plan, for City trees, and for the public library,

In public comments, Michael Livingston noted that CANDO’s application for funds for a bike fixit station was approved and Bryant Baird reported in response to questions that his work as Land Use Chair is going smoothly.

Michael Livingston gave a presentation on the State of Oregon’s Policy on Homelessness (ORS 458.528) and answered questions.        

 

There being no further business before the board, the Chair adjourned the meeting at 7:46 p.m.
